macauholiday.com is a content publishing site. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, hotel, booking platform, or travel agent.

2. Affiliate disclosure — FTC and international compliance

macauholiday.com earns commissions when readers book through affiliate links on the site. This is disclosed here, on the about page, and in the privacy policy.

What this means:

  • When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, the partner platform (Agoda, Booking.com, Klook, GetYourGuide, Viator, or other partners) pays us a referral commission.
  • The commission comes from the platform’s margin. You pay the same price whether you came through this site or typed the URL directly.
  • Editorial decisions — which hotels to include, which tours to recommend, which ferry operator to feature — are made on merit, not commission rate.

Permitted:

  • Quoting short passages (a sentence or two) for review, education, or commentary, with attribution and a link to the source page.

Not permitted without prior written permission:

We make a good-faith effort to keep guides accurate and current. Always confirm critical details — prices, schedules, availability, cancellation terms — directly with the provider before finalising travel plans.

A note on Macau and Hong Kong specifically: ferry schedules, visa requirements, casino entry conditions, and resort opening hours change more frequently than in many destinations. The gaming and hospitality sector in Macau in particular has seen significant changes in recent years, including resort rebrands, show closures, and restaurant changes. Treat our guides as a well-informed starting point and confirm with official sources before travel.

5. Accuracy of content

macauholiday.com publishes content in good faith. We verify facts at time of writing, note when information is provisional or likely to change, and update guides when we become aware of significant changes.

Content is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. If you spot something outdated or wrong, use the contact page. Corrections are made promptly when verified.

Do not make irreversible travel decisions based solely on what you read here. Confirm with official sources — the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and individual operators directly.
