What we’re useful for

Content corrections and updates. A ferry schedule that’s changed, a restaurant that’s closed, a hotel that’s rebranded, a price that’s significantly off. Send the page URL and the specific section. We update when corrections are verified. Given the pace at which Macau and Hong Kong change — new openings, rebrands, the occasional abrupt closure — corrections are genuinely valued.

Missing coverage. A destination, route, attraction, or topic that isn’t covered yet. The site is being built systematically but there are gaps, and reader knowledge from recent visits fills them faster than scheduled research.

Broken links and technical issues. Affiliate links that aren’t resolving, internal links that 404, pages that render incorrectly. Include the page URL and the device or browser if it’s a rendering issue.

Collaboration. Travel writers, photographers, operators with a product worth covering, regional tourism offices. Short intro, what you’re proposing, links to your work. We’re selective — this is a specific site with a specific geographic scope — but the door is open for pitches that fit.

General feedback. Something confused you. Something was unexpectedly useful. Something read wrong. The site is being built deliberately and feedback shapes it.

What we can’t help with

Booking disputes. If a tour didn’t run, a hotel charged incorrectly, a ferry was cancelled — contact the platform you booked through (Klook, GetYourGuide, Viator, Booking.com, Agoda) or the operator directly. We don’t hold your payment and can’t process refunds on transactions we weren’t part of. The relevant contacts: Klook help, GetYourGuide help, Booking.com customer service, Agoda help.

Custom itinerary planning. macauholiday.com is a publishing site. The destination guides, the itinerary pages, and the things-to-do articles are designed to be self-service planning resources. We don’t build bespoke itineraries on request.

Visa and immigration advice. We publish the general picture in the Macau Visa Guide, but requirements change and edge cases vary. For authoritative current information: Macau SAR Immigration Department and Hong Kong Immigration Department.

Live pricing and availability. The guides show pricing at time of writing, but rates change. Use the booking platforms for current availability and price.
